KELVIN AU Kelvin graduated from the music academy of Hong Kong Baptist University with a bachelor’s degree in music, majoring in flute under the guidance of Mr. Tim Wilson. He began studying the flute at the age of eight and has since earned distinction in the Trinity College London Flute Performance Diploma, as well as the ABRSM Grade 8 Piano certificate. He has won numerous awards at the Hong Kong Schools Music Festival, including champion in flute solo and runner-up in flute duet. Kelvin is active on the international music stage, having performed as a guest artist at the British Flute Society (BFS) Convention and participated in international flute convention in the United States (NFA), Japan, and other countries. In 2012, he was invited to perform his original flute composition at the International Computer Music Festival in Slovenia. With rich experience in both performance and recording, Kelvin has served as principal flutist for the Hong Kong Youth Symphony Orchestra, Hong Kong Baptist University Symphony Orchestra, Collegium Musicum Hong Kong, and the Hong Kong Youth Sinfonica. He has also appeared as a session musician and concert performer for various local pop singers, including Jason Chan, Phil Lam, Fiona Sit, Ivana Wong, and Justin Lo, with his performances ranging from the Hong Kong Coliseum to the AsiaWorld–Expo and other major venues. Beyond music, Kelvin also enjoys snow sports, especially snowboarding. Every winter, he visits different ski resorts in Japan to experience the speed and fun on the slopes. Kelvin畢業於香港浸會大學音樂系，獲音樂學士學位，主修長笛，師從衛庭新老師。他自八歲起學習長笛，先後以優異成績考獲倫敦聖三一學院長笛演奏文憑，以及英國皇家音樂學院鋼琴八級資格；並在香港校際音樂節中屢獲殊榮，包括長笛獨奏冠軍及二重奏亞軍。 Kelvin活躍於國際音樂舞台，曾以表演嘉賓身份出席英國長笛節（BFS），並參與美國（NFA）、日本等地舉辦的國際長笛交流活動。2012年，他更獲邀於斯洛文尼亞國際電子音樂節，演出其個人創作的長笛作品。 在舞台與錄音領域，Kelvin經驗豐富。他曾擔任香港青年交響樂團、香港浸會大學交響樂團、Collegium Musicum Hong Kong 及 Hong Kong Youth Sinfonica 的長笛首席。同時，他亦為多位本地流行歌手錄製唱片及擔任演唱會樂手，合作歌手包括陳柏宇、林奕匡、薛凱琪、王菀之、側田等，演出足跡遍及紅磡香港體育館、亞洲國際博覽館等大型舞台。 音樂以外，Kelvin近年也愛上了滑雪運動，更是單板滑雪的愛好者。每年冬季，他都會到日本不同的雪場，享受這項運動帶來的速度與樂趣。
