KELVIN AU Kelvin was graduated from Hong Kong Baptist University and obtained Bachelor of Arts (Hons) in Music, majoring in Flute under the guidance of Mr. Timothy Wilson. He completed both the Trinity Guildhall LTCL diploma with distinction in Flute performance and the ABRSM grade eight piano certificate. Also Kelvin won a number of prizes in various flute solo and duet classes in his school life. Kelvin is passionate in joining various musical events like Summer Music Camp in the University of British Columbia and flute convention in the USA. In the year 2010, Hong Kong Flute Quartet was invited to perform in the British Flute Convention held in Manchester. Kelvin is one of the members. In 2012, Kelvin was selected to perform his own flute piece in the International Computer Music Conference in Slovenia. Participating in different flute master classes is one of his habits. He took lessons with renowned flutists including Brenda Fudorak, principal flute of the Vancouver Symphony Orchestra; Dieter Flury, principal flute of the Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra; Mary Karen Clardy, Professor of Flute at the University of North Texas College of Music, etc. Performing, teaching and music production are his career life. Kelvin was active in playing in different orchestra such as Hong Kong Youth Symphony Orchestra, Hong Kong Baptist University Symphony Orchestra, Collegium Musicum Hong Kong, Hong Kong Performers Winds and Hong Kong Youth Sinfonica. Besides, Kelvin is enthusiastic in music production for over 10 years. Recording, mixing and playing in live shows are also a part of his life. He is specialized in sound recording, mixing and post-production. His studio life includes helping renowned artists and musicians for voices and instruments recording, fine-tuning and processing the sound waves, mixing for publication, etc. On stage, he is a computer programmer for sound execution. Now is active in production houses such as Edward Music Production, Novasonic Studio and KN Production.
